Chocolate-Coffee Energy Bars

Ingredients for 8-10 bars:

  •  3/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp espresso coffee powder
  • 1 cup Grand Granola Tonik
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup crushed almonds

Topping:

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips or discs
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup Grand Granola Tonik

Preparation :

  1. In a bowl, mix the first seven ingredients.
  2. Press the mixture into energy bar molds and flatten slightly.
  3. Melt the chocolate with oil in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals until melted.
  4. Spread the melted chocolate over the bars and top with Grand Granola.
  5. Place in the fridge until the bars harden.
  6. Keep refrigerated.
