A simple and comforting recipe with endless possibilities? Cookies certainly meet those criterias! Here are three cookie recipes with the Nutbrown granolas of your choice. Are you more chocolate or red fruit? Or sweet & salty? It’s all possible!
1. Milk chocolate and Nutbrown Vitality cookies
Ingredients for 6 medium cookies:
- ½ cup unsalted melted butter
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla
- 1 ¾ cup flour
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 oz milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup of Nutbrown Vitality gluten free granola
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Place the melted butter into a bowl and beat it with the sugar and brown sugar for about 1 minute. Once the mixture is smooth, add the vanilla and the egg and and beat for 1 minute.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, salt and baking powder. Then add the chocolate chips.
- Using a spoon, incorporate the ingredients to the first mixture.
- With this final preparation, make small balls with your hands and roll them in the NUTBROWN Vitality spread out on a small plate.
- Place the small balls on two baking sheets with about 2 inches (5 cm) between each cookie.
For a bit of decadence: Add more chocolate chips on the cookies before placing in the oven.😋
Prep time: 8-10 minutes.
Baking tip: Insert a toothpick in a cookie, if the preparation sticks to it, add 2 minutes of baking time if not BON APPÉTIT!
2. Three chocolate and Nutbrown Natural cookies
Ingredients for 6 medium cookies:
- ½ cup softened unsalted butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla
- 2 ¼ cup flour
- 1/2 unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 oz organic & fairtrade dark chocolate chunks
- 4 oz organic white chocolate chunks
- 1 cup of Nutbrown Natural grain free and gluten free granola
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, using a mixer, beat the butter with the sugar and brown sugar until the mixture is smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, continually beating. Then blend in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, sift the flour with the cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
- Using a spoon, incorporate the ingredients to the first mixture until the preparation is smooth. Add the dark and white chocolate chunks and blend well.
- With the final preparation, make small balls with your hands and roll them in the Nutbrown Natural spread out on a small plate.
- Place the small balls on two baking sheets leaving about 2 inches (5 cm) between each cookie.
Prep time: 10-12 minutes.
3. Nutbrown Aphrodisiac and peanut butter cookies
Ingredients for 6 medium cookies:
- ½ cup softened unsalted butter
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla
- 2 ¼ cup flour
- 1/2 unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 oz organic & fairtrade dark chocolate chunks
- 4 oz peanut butter chunks
- 1 cup Nutbrown Natural gluten-free and grain-free
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
