A bold Gourmet Granola signed Fourmi Bionique and Chocolats Geneviève Grandbois!

The idea came to unite the know-how of Geneviève Gagnon, granola expert and Geneviève Grandbois, chocolate expert, following the cohabitation of their companies in the same century old building. For more than 10 years, the two women entrepreneurs have shared the same values toward quality products, artisanship and the respect of ingredients.

Once upon a time…

Every bag of our Fourmi Bionique granola has a story to tell. They each start with a passion for wholesome ingredients and many a summer day gathering marigold petals, fresh berries and healing herbs in the local woodlands and fields. From local organic farmer to foreign exporter we did go, searching out rare and cared for ingredients, making lasting friends along the way.

Then the finest ingredients of their kind divulged their secrets at the accomplished hands of Geneviève. Designer blends began to sing with harmonious flavour — deep golden oats bellowed their earthy tones, roasted coconuts persisted on a nutty note, caramelized cranberries lifting them all to a supreme aroma until the Plateau neighbourhood sang with the unmistakable aroma of perfection.

People came to see, and taste, and feel the goodness, and the dance of decadent tastes was born — and the demand for more and more of the gourmet granola. Fourmi Bionique was created and a range of ultra-healthy granolas with distinctive personality, Fourmi Bionique granola.

2012: Geneviève Gagnon was honoured as one of Canada’s Top Female Entrepreneurs by PROFIT and Chatelaine magazines as part of the 14th annual W100 ranking

2011: Fourmi Bionique Aphrodisiac granola was chosen by the Selection Committee of the 2011 Trends & Innovation competition which was held at the SIAL Canada in Toronto.
2010: Geneviève Gagnon was awarded the title of ambassador from the Faculty of Communications of the University of Quebec in Montreal at the school's 40th anniversary on March 1st, 2010.
2009: The Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton Award for Success in Business, presented at the 11th Québec Entrepreneurship Contest Gala.
